Everyone has their own style of how they want to create or decorate their own art studio. I wanted to share some of my favorite art studio ideas. As you can see in the slideshow, I broke up my studio into several areas. First, the table or easel is important in front of natural light. Second, a bookshelf for paper, printer, office supplies, extra brushes, art supplies, folders...Third, either open shelves or a second bookshelf for books, memories, décor items, or clay pieces. Fourth, a relaxation area, maybe a comfy chair or couch to relax on. I normally wouldn't put a tv in an art studio but I'm also using the room for a meditation and yoga studio. I play yoga videos or listen to relaxing music on the tv. I really love having my own room and my own space, especially since I have 3 kids! Some things I have decorated on the walls are some of my own artwork, a gallery of my kids artwork, a wall clock, and open shelves to display items on. The open shelves are also great to prop a painting on for photos or to look at from a distance. One of my favorite ideas for an art studio are plants! They add so much color, and an element of nature to the room. Signs are also a fun way to show your love of art! The purple gold sunrise painting was specifically made for my art studio. I wanted to create a peaceful environment in the room. If your interested in the painting, you can purchase the original painting or I have prints of it in my Etsy shop. I also created pillows and bags of this sunrise design. I hope I was able to give you many ideas when creating your own relaxing and colorful art studio!
